International Youth Day
World Youth Day, often referred to as the WYD in Italian, or WYD (World Youth Day) in English, is an international meeting of spirituality and culture for young Catholics, promoted by the Catholic Church on the Pope's initiative.
These meetings began in 1985 by intuition of Pope John Paul II. The theme of 2019 is Not to fear, Mary, because you have found favor with God (Lk 1, 30).
