12 June
World Day against Child Labor

In 2002 the International Labor Organization (ILO) called for World Day against Child Labor to draw attention to the widespread phenomenon of children affected by forced labor worldwide. This day also aims to highlight the efforts and actions needed to prevent and eradicate child labor.
Every year on 12 June, the World Day unites governments, employers 'and workers' organizations, civil society and millions of people around the world to make known the difficult situation these children find themselves in and discuss what steps need to be taken to help them.
