World Oceans Day

World Oceans Day is an opportunity to remind ourselves that our seas are in crisis, that in Europe 60 percent of the studied fish resources are over-exploited and that in the Mediterranean and Black Sea the situation is even more alarming.
This is why Greenpeace supports artisanal fishing that uses low environmental impact tools and minimizes waste. Boat owners usually work on boats and fish as much as necessary to support their families.
